Evolution of biocarbon strength and structure during gasification in CO2 containing gas atmosphere

This work focuses on the properties of hydrolysis lignin biocarbons with a perspective utilizing in pyrometallurgical processes. Even if blast furnace and basic oxygen (BF-BOF) process route was replaced by emerging technologies lower CO2 emissions future, need for carbonaceous materials iron steel making industry will still exist. Most these applications do not require as high standards BF but requirements are similar to those BF. The most important mechanical strength suitable reactivity.
